Eventilla for developers

Eventilla is a Finnish event management system, built in Oulu. This page brings together the technical information developers need: APIs, integrations, webhooks and security.

Eventilla in brief

Technology

  • REST JSON API and open developer documentation
  • Servers located in Europe – regional solutions available for international customers
  • CSS access to event page templates
  • The service is monitored around the clock, every day
  • Our own in-house developer team that responds fast

Integrations

Ready-made integrations

Event data is available through an API for third-party systems. Ready-made integrations are available in the categories below, and we’re happy to build new ones as needed.

  • Webinar platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom)
  • CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Pipedrive)
  • LMS and learning platforms
  • Email and marketing tools
  • Finance and invoicing systems
  • Payment providers

Feeds and webhooks

Webhooks and feeds

Events ranging from registration to check-in can be forwarded via webhooks, and event data can also be imported into a target system through feeds.

  • Webhooks for events such as registration, cancellation and check-in
  • Requests are signed with a shared secret (HMAC) before processing
  • XML and RSS feeds for importing event data
  • Ready-made calendar views that can be embedded on your own website

Security

Security isn’t an afterthought

Eventilla’s information security management system is ISO/IEC 27001 certified. Our development work follows secure practices such as the OWASP Top 10 framework, regular code reviews and access control based on the principle of least privilege. The service is also fully GDPR-compliant.
